Provisional Administrator
Taylor’s journey in healthcare began within the very walls of Valley Vue Care Center, where she started her first job as a dietary aide. It was there that she took a CNA class that would ultimately set the course for her career in nursing and leadership. What began as a part-time job quickly turned into a calling—one that has led Taylor through a dynamic and rewarding healthcare path, always anchored in service to her hometown.
With a rich background in hospital care, including roles in labor and delivery, the emergency department, and as an Inpatient Director of Nursing, Taylor has developed a well-rounded clinical foundation.
Educationally, Taylor has continually advanced her knowledge, earning her Associate’s Degree in Nursing, her BSN, and a Master’s Degree in Executive Nurse Leadership. Her return to Valley Vue—as Director of Nursing and now as Provisional Administrator—has been driven by a personal mission: to provide exceptional, compassionate care to the community she knows best.
For Taylor, Valley Vue and Spring Creek aren’t just care facilities—they’re extensions of home. Whether it’s a neighbor from church or a familiar face from a Friday night football game, she and her team treat every resident and family like their own. She is deeply committed to making sure those who need short-term rehabilitation or long-term care services feel safe, seen, and supported.
Director of Nursing
With over two decades of experience in long-term care, Kristin brings both depth and heart to her role as Director of Nursing at Valley Vue Care Center. Her journey in healthcare began at just 16 years old when she took on her first job as a CNA. Since then, she has devoted 23 years to the field—17 of those spent growing, learning, and leading at Valley Vue.
Kristin’s progression through nearly every level of nursing care—CNA, Charge Nurse, MDS Coordinator, and now DON—has equipped her with a rare, well-rounded perspective. This frontline experience fuels her leadership style: hands-on, empathetic, and deeply respectful of the work her team does every day.
What drives Kristin most is her connection with the residents. She finds joy in their stories, wisdom in their experiences, and fulfillment in brightening their days. That mutual exchange of care and compassion is what keeps her committed to delivering high-quality, person-centered care.
As a leader, Kristin’s foundation in caregiving allows her to guide her team with insight, patience, and understanding. She believes that strong leadership isn’t just about oversight—it’s about showing up, listening, and leading by example. At Valley Vue Care Center, she’s not just shaping a team—she’s nurturing a community where residents and staff alike feel seen, supported, and valued.
