After breaking both my femur and elbow, I needed a place where I could heal, and I immediately thought of Valley Vue. I had always heard great things about the facility and knew several people there—including friends and staff—so it just felt like the right place for me.
From the very beginning, I was blown away by how wonderful everyone was. I needed a lot of help, and no matter what I asked, the staff was right there with a smile. The nurses, especially Macy and Carrie, were just amazing, and Angel was another favorite—truly caring people who made a tough time feel manageable. The therapy team did such a great job that I was walking again when I left!
I looked forward to lunch every day, not just for the food—which was surprisingly good—but because I met so many lovely people. The activities were non-stop, from bingo and dice games to exercise classes. There was always something to do and never a dull moment.
Even after leaving, I still come back to visit with friends I made there. It’s that kind of place—warm, welcoming, and filled with joy. If I ever need assisted living, I already know that’s exactly where I’ll go. Valley Vue doesn’t just care for you—they make you feel like family.

After dealing with some unexpected health issues—including ruptured tendons and possibly even a hip concern—I found myself needing rehab to regain my strength and independence. I wasn’t sure what to expect going into a care facility for the first time, but Valley Vue turned out to be a wonderful surprise.Initially, I ended up at Valley Vue because other places had no openings, but it turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Not only did they have room for me, but I soon discovered that my brother was there at the same time, which made the experience even more meaningful.
My goal was simple: to function independently again. And with the support of the team at Valley Vue, I made progress every day. The staff were always friendly, upbeat, and genuinely caring—they never made me feel like a burden, and they always treated me with respect. The care I received was exactly what I needed, and I never once felt overlooked or unsupported.
One of the things I appreciated most was the proximity of the facility to my home. It meant my friends and family could visit easily, and that kind of connection made a big difference in my recovery. Valley Vue had a warm and welcoming environment that truly felt like home. If I ever need care again, I wouldn’t hesitate to return. And if anyone I know is looking for a rehab facility, I would absolutely recommend Valley Vue. They went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable, cared for, and on the path to recovery.

After spending a couple of weeks in the hospital, I was too weak to go home. I knew I needed a place that could help me regain my strength—and Valley Vue was exactly that place. I spent about three weeks there for rehab, and I can honestly say, I couldn’t have asked for better care.
Everyone at Valley Vue was kind, attentive, and always had a smile on their face. They knew when I needed help and when I just needed to rest. From helping me to the bathroom, walking with me, and supporting me in the exercise room, they made sure I felt safe and cared for at all times. Even the little things—like making sure I always had water nearby or having my laundry done with care—meant so much to me.
My biggest goal was to regain strength, and they helped me do just that. After spending so much time lying down, it was hard to get moving again, but the therapy team guided me every step of the way. What stood out most was the staff’s positive attitude. They truly made each day better, even when I was longing to be home.
Valley Vue felt more like family than any place I’ve ever been. If anyone finds themselves needing rehab and wants to stay somewhere close to home, with people who genuinely care, I would recommend Valley Vue in a heartbeat. It’s a warm, family-based environment where you’re not just another patient—you’re treated like one of their own.

I came to Valley Vue after being hospitalized with pneumonia. I had been in Fairmont and then transferred to Mankato, and that’s how I ended up at Valley Vue for rehab. When I arrived, my main goal was simple— to get better. The therapy team helped me do exactly that. Slowly, I began to feel stronger. I may not remember every detail or name, but I do remember that one nurse in particular made a big difference, and every doctor I saw was excellent. They truly took the time to check in with me often and made sure I was on the right track.
The service at Valley Vue was outstanding. The care team was always kind, attentive, and supportive. And I have to say, the meals were excellent—something I looked forward to every day.I would definitely recommend Valley Vue to family or friends. It’s just a nice place. Everyone there made me feel comfortable and well cared for, and I’m grateful for the support I received during my recovery.
